WiseBenefits is operated by 1232216 B.C. Ltd. Our free calculators run in your browser. You can use them without an account, an email address or optional analytics. This policy explains the information involved when you visit, choose analytics or join the launch list.

Calculator answers stay in your browser

We do not send calculator answers or results to our server or to Google, or write them to cookies or local storage. Browser history records the checker step, not your answers. Browsers may keep an open page in memory or restore a tab, so close it when using a shared device. Downloaded calendar files stay wherever you save them; delete them yourself when no longer needed.

Launch list (optional)

If you tick the box and give us your email address, we store the address, the page you were on, the time, and the version of the consent wording you agreed to, in private storage with our hosting provider (Vercel, United States). We use it for one purpose: one email when a WiseBenefits kit is available. No newsletter, no other marketing, and we never ask for health information. The sender is 1232216 B.C. Ltd., 101-1388 Continental St, Vancouver, BC V6Z 0C9.

Withdraw any time by emailing hello@wisebenefits.ca; we act on it within ten business days. We delete every address after the launch email is sent, or by December 31, 2027, whichever comes first. Addresses given before September 29, 2026 were collected for the same single email; none are held today. Please do not send health records, a SIN or benefit applications to the site.

Optional analytics and cookies

Google Analytics is off until you choose to allow it in Privacy choices, available in the footer of every page. Google receives page and device information, approximate location derived from network information, and basic usage events. It can set analytics cookies. Calculator answers, results and signup email addresses are not included in our events. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag.

You can turn analytics off in the same controls. We then disable the tag and remove its accessible first-party analytics cookies. This stops future collection; it does not erase information previously sent to Google. Your choice is stored on this device for up to 180 days. We keep analytics off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Blocking storage or scripts does not stop the free calculators from being available, although calculators need JavaScript to calculate.

Display preference

If you choose a light or dark background, only that choice is stored locally so it carries across pages. Clear this site's browser storage to reset it. It does not include calculator answers.

Hosting, service providers and international processing

Vercel hosts the site. Launch-list records are stored in private Vercel Blob storage. Like other web hosts, it processes technical data such as IP addresses, request URLs and diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the service. Google processes analytics only when allowed as described above. These providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where local authorities may have lawful access. Fonts and site photographs are served from our own site.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We use service providers to operate the site and may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights. External websites you choose to visit have their own privacy practices.

Retention and protection

Launch-list records are kept only for the single email described above and deleted on the schedule above; after a withdrawal we keep only the address, marked "do not contact", so we don't email it again. Access to the storage is limited to the operator. No system can guarantee complete security.

Access, correction and complaints

You have access, correction and complaint rights under applicable privacy law. Our listed email, hello@wisebenefits.ca, is checked at least weekly; we answer access and correction requests within 30 days.

Future changes

There are currently no advertisements, affiliate links or paid products on WiseBenefits. If that changes, we will explain the new arrangements and seek any required consent before introducing new uses of personal information. The date above identifies this policy version.
