Counting the days
The tracker counts calendar days, starting the day after the date you enter, the way the Social Security Tribunal describes it. Weekends and holidays count. Don't rely on a deadline moving if it lands on one, and if you mail anything, send it at least a week early.
Keep a copy of everything you send, and note how and when you sent it.
What goes in a request
The decision letter explains why you were turned down. Your request is strongest when it answers those reasons directly, with new information: a letter from a practitioner, records that weren't sent before, or a clear description of how your condition limits you day to day.

How long do I have to object to a Disability Tax Credit denial?
90 days from the date of the notice of determination. You can also ask CRA to review the decision with new medical information.
How long do I have to ask for a CPP Disability reconsideration?
90 days from the date you receive the decision letter. The law allows Service Canada to give more time, so ask even if you're late.
How long do I have to appeal to the Social Security Tribunal?
90 days after you get Service Canada's reconsideration decision. The Tribunal can't accept an appeal sent more than a year after you received it.
How long do I have to ask for a Canada Disability Benefit reconsideration?
180 days from the date on your decision letter.
